Sylvia Wingo, M.D, F.A.A.P*
General Pediatrician
Dr. Sylvia Wingo is a Board Eligible general pediatrician. Following college at Oklahoma Baptist University, Dr. Wingo completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa in the spring of 1990. She then completed a residency in general pediatrics also at OU COM-Tulsa in 1993. Dr. Wingo practiced with Warren Clinics Pediatrics group in Stillwater, OK, for approximately eight years after completing residency.
In 2001, Dr. Wingo left Warren Clinics to work with her family with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention as career missionaries in South America. She worked with native Bolivians in the Andes of Bolivia for over six years, then worked with residents in poverty-stricken areas of smaller cities in Brazil for over four years before returning to the USA.
Donna Foster, APRN
Nurse Practitioner
Donna was born near Slema, Alabama and then moved to Memphis, TN at age 7. Donna graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a BSN in 1989. She has experience in the ER and ICU as well as her own pediatric IV therapy business. graduated from Mississippi University for Women (called the ‘W”) in 1997 becoming a nurse practitioner. Donna has two children, a son and a daughter, as well as three granddaughters. In her spare time, Donna enjoys reading and writing; especially in regard to pediatric medical research.
Donna’s Montra: The work of caring for children is my way of doing God’s work. Of what other work, could it be said that the longer you work, the stronger you become? The more you give, the more you receive. The higher the cause for any anxiety, the deeper the cause for peace. In doing this work, one does not seek the external, the visible, that which the world chooses as its goal. One seeks that which is invisible, the hidden power behind the things we see. Ample strength is given for the service of this love.
