Dr. Hernandez was the first full-time Pediatric sub-specialist in the Northshore area and served as the Medical Director of multiple Skill Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Hyperbaric/Wound Care Units, and Pediatric Hospitalist programs. His career interests are the care of the physically challenged, the complex pulmonary, and the critically ill child.
His vision of creating a comprehensive Pediatric group practice became a reality in 1992. Initially, the concept was that of a Pediatric Sub-Specialty Service, but rapidly progressed into out-patient General Pediatric and in-patient Hospitalist Services.
The name Children’s International Medical Group® celebrates the diversity of its members from around the world. Dr. Hernandez’ passion for business is well appreciated by all his affiliates and colleagues that have experienced first hand the financial benefits of his entrepreneurial spirit and his philosophy of developing and building win/win relationships.
