Dr. F. Douglas Patterson is a board certified pediatrician. Dr. Patterson has been a pediatrician for over 30 years and has been with Children’s International since 2014. He has been in the Baton Rouge/Denham Springs area caring for pediatric patients for 25 years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and exercising. Patients of Dr. Patterson say he is kind, attentive to their needs, and an all-around great pediatrician.
Dr. Patterson received his Bachelors in Biology from the University of Alabama before attending the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Upon receiving his Medical Degree he joined the U.S. Army, where he completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Dr. Patterson then spent two years at Fort Lee, Virginia before moving to Baton Rouge and joining the Baton Rouge Clinic Department of Pediatrics.
